The My Thin Blue Life product line is designed to symbolize strength, resilience, and courage in the face of adversity. Each piece in the collection is inspired by an Ohio retired law enforcement officer, now Tiktok / Social Media Influencer, Kevin Gilkison. Kevin is currently writing a book (My Thin Blue Life) on his career and the challenges and hardships faced by officers, and their families in law enforcement, as well as the impact of mental illness on those working in the line of duty.
Save A Warrior
Kevin's mission with the My Thin Blue Life Collection is to dedicate a significant portion of the proceeds to sponsor fellow first responders across the country to attend Save A Warrior in Hillsboro, Ohio. (This opportunity is contingent upon the first responder being properly vetted and approved by Save A Warrior.) Currently, due to nonprofit funding limitations, Save A Warrior is only available to Ohio-based first responders.
In February 2024, Save A Warrior changed Kevin's life, and now he’s committed to supporting first responders struggling with Complex Post-Traumatic Stress. These brave individuals have sacrificed so much to protect and serve their communities, and Kevin’s goal is to show them the same love and hope that saved his own life.
Kevin recently released a song he wrote dedicated to his fellow law enforcement brothers and sisters, which is now available on all major music platforms, iTunes, Spotify, Pandora, YouTube Music ect.
